Before I Awake

Dedicated to life

Before I awake, let there be peace on hearth in every home
Awake to find religions unite beyond the boarders of Rome
Filled my lungs with the aroma of togetherness like a psalm
Tears, fears and army gears couldn't rape this happy dome

Before I awake, let my feet sock in blissful eternal joy
Awake to clutch on to dreams like a kid holding a toy
Heart filled with love like a shy girl waving to a shy boy
In the river of orgasm, let my body bathe in milk of soy

Before I awake, let my heart set rhythm for a long prosperous life
Awake to find my parents eating papaya with a diamond knife
Let the words from this blog become my guiding light over strife
Let me hold her near in bad times, the sunlight chosen for my wife

Before I awake, I arise from darkness to become the man I ought to be
Whistling my way through the universe like my forefathers before me
Learning from my past, living for the present and the future to see
Giving back to the world before my bones are too tired to even drink tea
