The bicycle thief

The bicycle thief

In your ocean blue summer dress
Radiating in a new Sunday's best
The spaghetti strap show
ed a tan skin
With black hair flowing in the wind
Your sweet berry aroma was strong
Long defined bare legs peddled on
like a film noir with a leading part
You went by and stole my heart

Peace Be Upon Them

Peace Be Upon Them

History, English and Algebra are an exquisite delight
Don't hate me because I can read and write
Me and Ms. Dictionary have always been tight
She caresses my vocabulary every single night
Inseparable in the realm of evil and his might
We compose passionate essays by the kitchen light
Blind is a man who can't count, read or write
Dead are women who give away their sight
In the name of activist children, XY and XX
"Peace be upon them" reads on their grave site
Education is a basic necessity, your given right
You too can pick up a pen and learn to fight

Dedicated to children's education

The Elevator Door

The Elevator Door

Life is nothing more then a 70 floor repetitive elevator ride
Always live each mechanical movement like it's your last
Be foolish and pee with grace, you're already on security camera
Make time to explore other levels and treasure them to its fullest
Show patience if you're in between floors, God is on extended lunch
Learn to alternate by using stairs to prepare for what life may bring
Keep pressing on letter G to stay grounded, focus and fit
Fear not of the dreadful 13th floor when laughter is the key
Hold the elevator door to late comers into your circle of life
Socialize and help co-tenants on your way to your destination
Engage in fantasy of the mind if a penthouse view is inaccessible
Write on the wall with a marker "(I) was here and made a difference"
Be safe, be resilient, be loving,
be daring, be kind, be humble, be sexual
But, always remember to be… yourself

Happy birthday, to your new self

Keep enjoying the ride!

Ms.

Ms.

Ms. Music

Kissed you once,
Shame on me
Didn't ask for your name

Kissed me twice,
Shame on you
You were already engaged

Kiss me again,
Memory of your lips I will retain
If you share with your fiance my pain

-- Louis Mercier
