Happiness Is...

I made a wish upon a star and hope this feeling will last forever. Ain't nothing makes me feel more happy then:

1. The beating rhythm of my healthy heart
2. The color sky blue
3. A good joke
4. Richard Pryor or any great stand up comedian live  
5. My parent's love, trust and encouragement in life
6. My siblings jokes, care and act of service
7. Saying "Hello" to strangers on the street
8. Seeing a simple looking woman with a smile in her walk and on her face
9. Music, especially Soul and Soca music
10. Hearing a woman's/man's laughter
11. A baby's laughter
12. Daring myself to try something new
13. Exercising for a good health and a 6 packs
14. 8 hrs of sleep
15. Money in the bank
16. Playing with my pet goldfish "Happy"
17. Fulfilling a goal
18. Days off from work
19. Speaking my mind as I share my opinion on any subject
20. Watching my underdog team win
21. Talking with my Grand-parents and learning about their past
22. Reading a newspaper or Internet article to increase my knowledge of the world and finances
23. Singing on the street while going about my business
24. A sunny day where the sky is blue and a light breeze caresses my skin
25. Drinking tea or a hot chocolate
26. Giving or receiving a hug
27. Speaking to God
28. Watching a foreign movie
29. Encouraging others to succeed

Oops!

On August 03 2009, in a dream, I lived to experience a Oops! While in a truck and being poorly guided through a narrow path of doubled parked rental cars, a scratch occurred on another car. Can't imagine how someone must feel when he's involved in a car accident that totaled the other person's car.

Drive safely! Life is too precious!

Power of Music

My very first concert I looked forward seeing, from a music legend, must have been Run DMC in Montreal, Qc. However, it was also a real treat to myself seeing Mr. Stevie Wonder work the stage during a rainy opening act at the 2009 Montreal Jazz Festival. I was blessed and overjoyed.

Still I Rise

Where there is a will, there must be a way! I just wish it came quicker.

On this day, August 6 2009, I have made a big step in finishing the CRTC application for our 2009 Motorcity film festival award winning film "Grange Avenue" and a big jump, for me, in finding my bed. Oh sweet bed, I am coming home to you baby!

One application down, and two more to go on my never endding "To do list".

So far so good with few hours to sleep! Still on my feet and still I rise!

Actor at work

You bring me joy, when I'm on set. Oh, so much joy, when I lose my way your love comes smiling on me. I saw your face, last Sunday, and then I knew we would be friends again, Ms. Entertainment Industry.

When you love me, I smile, I feel your hands and you feel mine. You bring me joy in acting up a fool on set, make me feel closer and closer to this childhood dream. Don't go too far away, if I can't see your face, I will remember your smile.

But can this be right, should I keep holding on, and should we be just friends. I get the blues sometimes and I'm mixed up again 'cause you're one of the finest thing I've seen in all my life... you bring me joy.

Three Fs

Rise up this morning, smiled with the risin sun. Three little birds, pitch by my doorstep. Singing sweet songs, of melodies pure and true. Saying: "This is my message to you, Louis Mercier, success is a state of the mind and it starts within. Feel it, live it and think of success and you will become successful."

The three little birds added: "Don't worry bout a thing, cause every little thing gonna be all right.

No cars, investments, career title or huge mansion house could ever bring you more joy then the "Three Fs".

Fear No More

Guess your guess and test your test, if that is in your own interest to find out if I will fail, one fine day.

I know you're in a better place, even though I can't see your face. I know you're smiling down on me, saying everything's okay. And I wish, if I make it out this hustling life, I'll see you again someday. Until then, may God provide a short path to our mountain of success and happiness.

As people know just what they'd like to do. Whatever it is, you've got it, as long as it pleases you. Make it last as long as you can! When you're through, it's up to you to try it again.

Built To Last

Can you feel it? 

It's time for a celebration, I just finished reading "Think and grow rich" by Napoleon Hill. Can you see it?  I am now back on track, focus, and going for broke.

One of the best quote I take away from reading this book is: "Whatever the mind of man can CONCEIVE and BELIEVE it can ACHIEVE".

In my soul reside a special gift that says I was built to last pursuing childhood dreams. Now that I am back on track, on this beautiful journey of life, I shall add these auto suggestions to stay focus and keep moving ahead in being the worlds happiest .

Free At Last

Imagine me,

I've been down so long, I've been hurt for so long, there were times I thought I would never see the break of day. It was hard for me to accept my faith in this relationship and I tried to believe surely this pain won't last always. It will get better between us. But night after night, I prayed the Lord to not take my joy and dreams away from me. Then early one morning, June 14 2009, I read in my path for true love that it was finally time to open my soul and try once again to save the relationship. Through another failed attempt, I'm glad to keep my faith that I will one day have another chance at love with someone else and my heart will dance.

Image me being free! Thank God Almighty, I am free at last! Free to be, to live and one fine day start from scratch, imagine me.

Everything that has happened in the past is now gone. Every mistake, depression, every failure its’ all gone! My scars, my pain it’s all in the past, it's yesterday 'cause it's all gone.

The Harder They Come

Well, the obstacles of life is trying to keep me down, trying to drive me underground. And they think that they have got the battle won, I say forgive them Lord, they know not what they've done. I'll keep on fighting for the things that I want, though I know when you're dead you can't. But I'd rather be a free man in my grave, than living as a puppet or a slave.

So as sure as the sun will shine, I'm gonna get my share now of what's mine.

And then the harder they come the harder they'll fall, one and all.

I've got a hard road to travel and a rough way to go.

Today, the sun was shining, the weather was sweet
make you want to move your dancing feet.

After ten days straight, two o.t. and one triple shift, I was off on cloud nine.

Paid bills and commission, met 2A's Mom for the first time, met Jason, spoke with John, Mom & Dad, Sis on the cell phone.

Now planning a week of fun and laughter. 

I am blessed for another day of sun shinning within.

Soca party, to the max, here I come!

Faith Is On My Side
